Plans for 450 new homes, wildlife habitats and a new country park in Stonnall have moved a step closer after a public consultation ended. Developer David Wilson Homes is preparing to submit a planning application for the Grove Hill site to Lichfield District Council. It is planned that the park will cover nearly 12 hectares of land, the equivalent of 18 football fields. "David Wilson Homes is planning to submit an outline planning application to help the council address its five-year housing land supply shortfall. "Having assessed the site, David Wilson Homes believes the site can provide up to 450 new homes to the housing short fall along with significant areas of new public open space, infrastructure and associated facilities."
