Olena Svetlov named to American Association of Critical-Care Nurses boardOlena Svetlov, a clinical nurse specialist at UCLA Health, has been named a director of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) board of directors and will serve a three-year term ending in June 2029. Svetlov, who has worked in critical care for 18 years, specializes in cardiology care at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. In memoriam: Dr. Roger Detels, HIV/AIDS researcher and public health leaderDr. Roger Detels, former dean and distinguished professor of epidemiology in the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, died July 25.
