In contrast, we sometimes encounter some Scripture passages that make us wonder: Where exactly is the good news here? What happens next is the first sign of the Gospel as "good news": even in grief, Jesus does not turn inward in self-absorption. In the Gospel, Jesus embodies this very invitation. In a place of emptiness, God's love proves superabundant.
