Over 1,000 properties near Cullompton are without electricity this afternoon (Saturday, October 4) because of a large power cut in Devon. The EX15 and EX5 postcodes are currently affected by the power outage. It said: "There's a fault on the high voltage power lines in your area, and we're getting this sorted as a priority." It is expected that power will be restored to the affected properties by 1.30pm. National Grid has reported a number of power cuts across the Devon and Cornwall area amid a yellow weather warning from the Met Office.
