Ms. Clancy is charged with three counts of premeditated murder. She was in psychiatric treatment and had been prescribed 13 psychiatric medications, evidence of the persistent nature of the defendant’s symptomatology. Her lawyer will argue that Ms. Clancy has been deteriorating into a non-reality for months. A multitude of witnesses will be presented during Ms. Clancy’s trial by both the prosecution and defense, including experts of various sorts and fact witnesses. The jurors will be acutely attentive to the testimony of the psychiatric experts who interviewed Ms. Clancy.
