Altogether, around 115 jobs have been created by the existing hyperscale data centers in North Dakota, according to the state tax commissioner's office.
Instead, they expanded tax exemptions for data centers, which saved big tech companies $41 million last year, and put $100 million toward a fund that specifically invests in data centers.
