John Michael Adair, 72, of Oquawka, IL, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at his home. John married Sally Kinkaid on June 20, 1976, in Monmouth, IL, they had a double wedding with Sally’s sister, Susan and her husband, Pat. John dedicated over 35 years of his career to Independent Refrigeration and Heating in Monmouth, working faithfully for John Wilson until his retirement. Surviving John is his wife, Sally Adair of Oquawka, IL; his daughter, Lesley (Jeff) John of Oquawka, IL; his grandchildren, Kaylee & Konner John of Oquawka, IL; sister, Kathy (Dave) Unsworth of Alexis, IL; Sisters-in-law, Susan “Suz” (Pat) McKeown of Oquawka, IL, Linda (Thomas) Clapp of Micco, FL; brother-in-law, Lee (Sheila) Kinkaid of Bremen, GA; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved goldendoodle, Bella. Interment of his ashes will be in Rozetta Cemetery, Rozetta, IL.
