The German women’s national soccer player Lena Oberdorf has made her comeback after a lengthy injury layoff.
The 23-year-old appeared for half a game after suffering ACL and MCL injuries in Bayern Munich’s friendly against Newcastle United (1-3).
Oberdorf had sustained the serious injury in July of last year, ahead of the Olympic Games (TheColu.mn reported).
She did not make the squad for the European Championship finals in Switzerland, after having trained with the national team in the meantime.
In the summer of 2023 she publicly spoke about her girlfriend for the first time.
