Earlier this week, Claire's administrators agreed to sell 156 stores to investment group Modella Capital, securing around 1,000 jobs.
On Monday, administrators at Interpath said they were working to keep the remaining stores open and secure their future.
This is one of seven stores in the North East, which are also concerned about possible closure.
Claire's UK administration began on August 13, as the firm appointed administrators for its UK and Ireland business, putting around 2,150 jobs at risk.
On Monday (September 29), Modella Capital struck the deal directly with Claire's US parent company, Ames Watson, to take over the 156 UK stores.
