Darlington man found wandering gardens with a knife 'got lost during a smoke break'

The 28-year-old from Darlington had been fitting a carpet when he wandered off while taking cigarette break, Newton Aycliffe Magistrates’ Court heard.
John Garside, prosecuting, said the police were called after residents spotted him jumping from garden to garden on August 13.
McArthur, formerly of Darlington but of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to possession of a bladed article and possession of a Class B drug – cannabis paste.

“You have to understand that you have had plenty of chances before and this one is you last one.”
