Therefore, teacher education cannot be treated like an ordinary academic programme. This is precisely why the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) was created. If the practical foundation of teacher education is weakened, the very purpose of regulating teacher education is defeated. through distance mode should carefully reconsider whether such programmes truly fulfil the objectives of professional teacher education. through distance education should be discontinued in the interest of educational quality, professional integrity, and the future of our children.
