Srinagar, Aug 01: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday handed over appointment letters on compassionate grounds to the families of two J&K Police personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty, assuring them of all possible support from the administration. The Lieutenant Governor also handed over an appointment letter to Inshah Nazir, wife of Martyr J&K Police Inspector Masroor Ali Wani, who also made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. Paying tribute to the brave hearts, the Lieutenant Governor honoured the supreme sacrifice of both the personnel who laid down their lives while serving the nation. The compassionate appointment letters were issued as part of the government's commitment to the welfare of families of security personnel who make the ultimate sacrifice while protecting the nation. The initiative reflects the administration's resolve to stand by the families of martyrs and ensure their financial security and dignity.
