Police have charged a man in relation to an incident leading to an officer-involved shooting in Bridlewood on Thursday. The shooting occurred during the early hours of Thursday morning, after police responded to reports of a disturbance involving a man with a weapon around 1 a.m. The man had entered a residence on Bridlemeadows Manor S.W. Martin is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 5, and the officer-involved shooting is under investigation with the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT).
