: Mexico Sends 718 Tons of Humanitarian Aid in Second Maritime Shipment to VenezuelaThe Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) and the Ministry of the Navy reported in a joint statement that the ships ‘ARM Papaloapan’ and ‘ARM Huasteco’ departed on July 31, by instruction of President Claudia Sheinbaum, to transport assistance supplies to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
The largest shipment travels in the ‘ARM Papaloapan’, which transports approximately 684 tons of supplies, while the ‘ARM Huasteco’ carries another 34.5 tons, bringing the total to more than 718 tons, according to the agencies.
Sheinbaum reported on the shipment on Friday, when she defended foreign aid as an expression of Mexican solidarity.
