The new warning extends across the north coast, east Sutherland and Ross, Inverness and Moray. The Met Office has extended the range of its yellow weather warning for Sunday (tomorrow), to include most of the east of Scotland. The new warning is expected to impact the north coast of Sutherland and Caithness, east coast areas of Sutherland and Ross, Inverness and parts of Moray. An existing amber alert for disruptive and damaging winds remains in place until 9pm this evening for most of the Highlands. A yellow warning is also in place today for rain until midnight, affecting Ross, Sutherland and Caithness.
