The Brewers have reinstated outfielder Brandon Lockridge from the 60-day injured list ahead of their game tonight against the Angels. The Brewers had two open spaces on their 40-man roster, so they did not need to make a corresponding move to activate Lockridge. Prior to his injury, Lockridge was seeing semi-regular playing time for the Brewers, appearing in 28 of their first 36 games. Garrett Mitchell and Jackson Chourio play every day in center and left field, respectively, while recent call-up Luis Lara has been playing well in right field. So, the speedy, glove-first Lockridge returns to the Brewers as a good bench piece.
