The Giants selected the contract of infielder Nate Furman, per a team announcement. After missing the first half of 2025 with a shoulder injury, Furman closed the season strong. Furman stole 37 bases in his first pro season, which consisted of 108 games split between Single-A and High-A. He’s stolen 31 bases in the three years since that debut campaign. Rodriguez has primarily played catcher with the Giants, but he’s also picked up reps at second base and both corner outfield spots.
