Telesforo Carrera Gutierrez, 75, of Galesburg, died at 1:32 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2025, with family at his side. He was born April 20, 1950, in Durango, Mexico, the son of Cruz Gutierrez and Emilia Carrera. He married Sarrah Frances Glenelle Woods on July 23, 1973, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. He had owned La Mesa for a time and also owned and operated the former Frances Café. Visitation will continue following the Rosary until 7 p.m. Cremation will be accorded after the visitation.
