Rae Ann Staskiewicz, 75, of Galesburg, died at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at OSF Richard Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, Illinois. She was born January 4, 1950, in DePue, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond Vincent and Helen Jane (Unholz) Staskiewicz. Rae was active in the Illinois Society for Histotechnology, serving as President for 8 years. Rae was well known in the Histology community for her intensive knowledge; she trained many techs over the years. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Barbara Perrero; and a great nephew, Vincent Perrero.
