Robert Lee Morris, 83, of Wataga, Illinois, died at 2:33 a.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in the emergency room at OSF St. Mary Medical Center, Galesburg, Illinois. Bob was born May 3, 1942, in Frederick, Illinois, the son of Merle Melvin and Leona (Hedden) Morris. Bob is survived by his wife of 61 years, Charlene of Wataga, Illinois; three sons, Robert (Kim) Morris of Herman, Illinois, Charles (Lisa) Morris of Peoria, Illinois, and Garrett Morris of Peoria, Illinois. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one sister, Annabelle Smith of Lewistown, Illinois. Bob worked at Gates Rubber Co. in Galesburg for 37 years, prior to retiring.
