Trailing behind Iwobi and Ameobi on the all-time Nigerian Premier League appearances list are Nwankwo Kanu (273), Yakubu Aiyegbeni (252), and John Mikel Obi (249). With one more appearance, Iwobi is set to become Nigeria’s all-time most-capped player in Premier League history.
