The City of Galesburg is notifying the public of two separate upcoming infrastructure projects that will result in temporary road closures. Whitesboro Street Railroad Crossing ClosureBNSF Railway will be performing essential crossing repairs at the Whitesboro Street railroad crossing on Friday, September 12, weather permitting. Sanitary Sewer Repairs at Knox and Elm StreetStarting Monday, September 15, the Galesburg Sanitary District is scheduled to begin sanitary sewer repair work at the intersection of Knox and Elm Street, weather permitting. Work begin after the school day starts at Lombard Middle School and conclude before school is dismissed each day.
