St. Amant, La - Joseph Dennis "Yankee" Allen, age 74 and a resident of St. Amant, La passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Yankee is survived by his sister, Mary Allen; 3 brothers, Frederick Allen, Frank Allen, and Robert Allen (wife Barbara); He is also survived by his soul mate, Crystal, and his extended family, Brent and April Dedon, Hunter Dedon, Emily Dedon and Stephanie Davidson Wolf. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Nellie Duchane Allen; brother, Larry Allen and friend Mark Dedon. Visiting will be from 5:00 PM until the funeral Service at 7:00 PM. He will be laid to rest in Rosehill Cemetery, 4309 Puttygut Rd, East China, MI.
