Mr & Miss Fresher of Norman Putsure College during the Freshers’ Day celebration on August 1. Chümoukedima, August 1 (MExN): Norman Putsure College ushered in its new academic session with a Freshers’ Day celebration on August 1, themed “Enchanted Bloom,” aimed at fostering camaraderie and showcasing the talents of incoming students. The event, held on the college campus, saw a formal session inaugurate the proceedings, highlighted by an inspiring address from Principal Dr Timothy Langwangbe. The highlight of the day was the Mr & Miss Fresher competition, which comprised Traditional, Casual, Formal, and Final Rounds, testing contestants on confidence, creativity, and personality. In the final results, S Tsoiniu Grace Khiam from the Department of Sociology and Machiting from the Department of Political Science were crowned Miss and Freshers 2026, respectively.
