Four gates of Osman Sagar (Gandipet) reservoir were raised by 2 ft height releasing 920 cusecs of water. The release of water from Himayat Sagar is likely to be increased gradually to 2,000 cusecs and from Osman Sagar to 3,000 cusecs as a precautionary measure.
