By MATT KING[email protected]POTOSI – Central head coach Kory Schweiss stated that his football game still lacked an offensive identity through five weeks of the season. Senior Noah Walton countered with 145 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries for Potosi (2-4, 1-3), which surrendered only three points after intermission. Blayne Maxwell returned the ensuing kickoff 50 yards to the Central 33, and sophomore quarterback David Miller scrambled for 21 yards on a third-and-13 play. Miller was 10-of-15 passing for 81 yards, and connected with Thomas Lambing and Walton for first downs as Potosi overcame back-to-back penalties. Central continued its steady control when Black motored 45 yards for his second touchdown with 2:06 remaining, and would not attempt a pass until the third quarter.
