In 2020, the singer, dancer, and actor revealed that her year-long relationship with the Transformers actor Shia LaBeouf had turned toxic, abusive, and violent.
Twigs sued LaBeouf for sexual battery, assault and infliction of emotional distress, alleging incidents of physical violence, including being strangled.
When asked if she feels a sense of safety now that the case is closed, Twigs replied, “No.”She added, “I wouldn’t say I feel safe.
