Robert C. Lafferty, 95, of Monmouth, IL formerly of Oquawka, IL, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Courtyard Estates, Monmouth. Bob was born July 16, 1930, in Monmouth, IL, the son of Harry S. and Dorothy (Brown) Lafferty. He was raised and educated in Monmouth graduating from Monmouth High School and he later attended Monmouth College. Survivors include his niece; Lisa Manry of Atlanta, GA, and a very special young man whom he considered his son, Jeffery A. Memorials can be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Shriner Children’s Hospital and sent to the funeral home.
