Christopher Nolan doesn't have an email address. He does not have a smartphone, but when travelling he takes a flip phone, the mobile phone that was abandoned about 2010. It's an unusual method to work, that's a director whose films are opening on more IMAX screens than almost anyone else's. Nolan runs his sets the same way he runs his personal life: stripped down, low-tech, and built to keep everyone's attention on the work in front of them rather than a screen.
