In their first game of the Galesburg Thanksgiving Tournament, the GHS girls basketball team beat East Peoria, 60-35.
The Silver Streaks play again in the tournament Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and then a Western Big 6 match-up next Tuesday against United Township.
