The air conditioning in my 97 Jeep TJ (4.0/manual) died the other day. This is after a couple of months of full time use on the days it was driven, perhaps one or two times a week. The thing was recently filled with freon(?) and was working very well. The compressor does seem to be make a bit of noise as the Jeep runs. Question I have is on replacing the compressor do I need to worry about replacing the condenser also. I guess the question is are these two things paired in such a way that...
