The Galesburg Silver Streaks returned home to Van Dyke Field Friday night in a conference battle with the Rock Island Rocks. The Streaks forced a three and out on the Rocks opening drive of the game, and tackled the punter on the Rocks 5 yard line. The Streaks took advantage as Amarie Richardson plunged in for a 2 yard score just 4:02 in to the game. The Rocks tied the game at 7, a few drives later as Rock Island quarterback Jav'eion Clark-Pugh connected with Elijah Venegas on a 32 yard touchdown pass. Senior Amarie Richardson led the Galesburg(2-5) offense with 28 carries for 207 yards and 3 touchdowns.
