Dwayne Johnson was front and center with some big news on the red carpet at an N.Y.C. The star announced to the attendees and press, “For the past two and a half to three years, we have been working on my Broadway debut. I love him to death, and the truth is is he’s so booked for the next three to five years,” Johnson says. Broadway would be a whole new beast for the actor, but it sounds like he’s given it a lot of thought and he’s up for the challenge. “ This theater has so much history and mana to it,” Johnson told PEOPLE at the event, regarding his interest in a future theatrical run.
