The 2026 edition of Lollapalooza began on Thursday (7/30) in Chicago’s Grant Park. Lorde headlined day one, returning for the festival for the first time since her 2017 set, which was evacuated after a few songs due to severe weather. Thursday at Lollapalooza also included sets from Viagra Boys, Wet Leg, CMAT, Little Simz, Audrey Hobert, Chalk, Blood Orange (who covered Björk’s “All Is Full of Love”), Boys Noize, Ninajirachi, Ecca Vandal, Haute & Freddy, Bad Nerves, and more. See pictures of lots of that by James Richards IV, along with an attendee-taken video clip of Lorde and Charli, below. Lollapalooza is also streaming live on Hulu and Disney+.
