Employee volunteers and skilled electricians will complete critical electrical upgrades and other improvements to support food access and community services in Baltimore. WHAT:Local nonprofit Rebuilding Together Baltimore and IDEAL Electrical are teaming up to improve the U Empower Maryland (UEMD) Resource Hub, home to The Food Project, helping strengthen a Southwest Baltimore community resource that connects individuals and families with food, resources, and other essential services. Around 20 employee volunteers and skilled electricians from IDEAL Electrical will work alongside Rebuilding Together Baltimore to improve the safety, functionality, and long-term resilience of the UEMD Resource Hub. Since 1989, RTB has mobilized over 20,000 volunteers to repair more than 3,000 homes in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
