If you just can't get enough live music and want to make the most of summertime in the Twin Ports area, another free concert series starts today in Duluth. The Duluth Public Library's annual 'City Sounds' free music series starts tonight (Thursday, July 30) with a different act scheduled to play each Thursday for the next few weeks. This well-established group plays swing, ballroom dance, and other big band music revisiting the era of the 1920s through the 1940s. This four-week music series put on by the Duluth Library joins other free music series going on this summer, including Duluth Parks & Rec's Music in the Park on Tuesdays, Glensheen's Concerts on the Pier on Wednesdays, and the DECC's Music on the Ship that's also on Thursdays.
