Buckinghamshire Council is reviewing conservation areas in Aylesbury, Buckingham, Haddenham, and Winslow to ensure places of special architectural or historic interest are properly protected.
Conservation areas are periodically reassessed to consider whether new areas should be included or existing sections removed.
Councillor Peter Strachan, deputy leader and cabinet member for planning at Buckinghamshire Council, said: "Not only are we consulting on our approach to our Local Plan from today, we are also separately seeking views on the existing Conservation Areas in Aylesbury, Buckingham, Haddenham and Winslow.
"We want to know whether people think these should change or stay the same.
"So please, get in touch and let us know what you think."
