West Virginia is making another $10 million available to improve treatment for substance use disorders, according to a press release from the West Virginia Department of Health.
According to Governor Patrick Morrisey, the total amount currently available through the state's Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) is now over $160 million.

West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrisey"Substance use disorder has touched far too many families and communities across West Virginia, and we're committed to expanding access to treatment while improving the quality of care people receive," said Governor Morrisey.
West Virginia had initially applied for $500 million from the program, ultimately being approved in December for a total of $199 million.
