The Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team had a tough shooting night Thursday at John Thiel Gym in a loss to Alleman, 56-48. The Streaks got behind early and just couldn't get back into the game as shots were hard to come by for the team. They made only 35% of their shots in the game, including only 4 of 25 from three-point range. Galesburg was led in scoring by Kiarra Kilgore with 23 points, Ella Herchenroder with 9, and Alexis Edgerson with 5. Next up for the Galesburg girls basketball team is a match-up with LaSalle-Peru at John Thiel Gym on Saturday (1/06).
