In just over a week, the Galesburg boys basketball team once again played the Sterling Golden Warriors Friday night and lost, 79-44. Last week at the Taylorville Holiday Tournament, Galesburg ended up playing Sterling in a non-conference bracket match-up that Sterling also won. Jace Keith led the way in the scoring for the Silver Streaks with 19 points and Tyree Taylor had 11. The Silver Streaks are now 5 - 13 on the season and 0 - 5 in the Western Big 6 Conference. Next up for the Galesburg boys is another conference game Tuesday (1/09) night at Geneseo High School.
