Following a tough loss to Alleman Thursday night, the Galesburg girls basketball team turned it around with a win over the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers on Saturday, 59 - 32, at John Thiel Gym. Galesburg led LaSalle-Peru by double-digits at the end of each quarter, including out-scoring them 14-1 in the 4th quarter. The Silver Streaks are now 18-2 on the season. For her 3-point shots in the 1st half that sparked the Silver Streaks, Alexis Edgerson was named the Dave's Auto Body Crunch-Time Player of the Game. Next up for the Galesburg girls basketball team is a Western Big 6 conference game against Sterling at John Thiel Gym on Thursday (1/11).
