The Galesburg High School girls basketball team continued to struggle with their shooting when they faced United Township at John Thiel Gym Saturday afternoon. With only 30% of their shots made, the Silver Streaks lost to the Panthers, 55-42. Galesburg generated 19 turnovers and out rebounded United Township in the game, but then couldn't convert those defensive efforts into points. The Silver Streaks were 15 of 37 from inside the arc, and just 2 of 19 from 3-point range. Next up for the Galesburg girls, they will host Normal West in a non-conference game at John Thiel Gym Monday (1/29) evening.
