At the Manual Shootout Saturday afternoon, the Galesburg boys basketball team played very well and put in a strong effort, but ultimately lost to Peoria High, 69-63. The Silver Streaks are now 5 - 18 on the season. Part of the scoring difference was in free throws, as Peoria High made 15 of the 21 attempts that they had. For the Silver Streaks, Jackson Crock Sibbing had a career high 29 points in the game, including 7 of 11 3-point shooting. In the 3rd quarter alone, he scored 11 of the Streaks' 12 points for the quarter, keeping Galesburg within striking distance.
