After going winless in conference play for most of the season, the Galesburg boys basketball team got their 2nd conference win in a row with 54-40 win over Alleman Tuesday night. The Silver Streaks are now 7-18 on the season and 2-8 in Western Big 6 conference play. The game was close most of the way with Galesburg leading Alleman by 2 points at halftime and also at the end of the 3rd quarter. They outscored Alleman 19-7 in the 4th quarter to clinch the win. For big timely shots and big timely steals, Cody Jones was named the Dave's Auto Body Crunch-Time Player of the Game.
