The Galesburg girls basketball team got a hard-fought win over Geneseo on Senior Night at John Thiel Gym on Thursday, 42-36. The Silver Streaks are now 23-5 on the season, 9-3 in the Western Big 6 and currently in 2nd place in the conference. Galesburg held on to win it despite being outscored in the 4th quarter, 15-7. All of the Galesburg seniors contributed in the win and on Senior Night were collectively named the Dave's Auto Body Crunch-Time Players of the Game. Next up for the Galesburg girls basketball team, they go on the road to Rock Island on Saturday (2/03) to take on the Rocks.
