Donald Trump called off a fresh wave of attacks on Iran amid talks that could hand Tehran at least partial control of the Strait of Hormuz. The US president's repeated efforts to wrestle control of the strait away from Iran have so far proved unsuccessful. On Friday, Mr Trump accused the Iranians of being "very dishonourable" and of having broken their word in previous talks.
