In the final game of the regular season, the Galesburg girls basketball team fell to the Alleman Pioneers, 51 -38, in a Western Big 6 conference match-up. The Silver Streaks finish the regular season 25-6 overall, and in 4th place in the conference at 10-4. Galesburg struggled to get the ball to go down, shooting just 32% from the field and going 5 of 18 for 3-pointers. Alleman had a better shooting night at 43% and went 5 for 13 from 3-point range. The Silver Streaks begin the postseason at home Monday (2/12) night as they host the Galesburg Regional and will take on Peoria Richwoods.
