In a rare Thursday night game in the Western Big 6, the Galesburg Silver Streaks football team faced an undefeated Quincy Blue Devils team that is currently ranked 5th in the state in Class 7A. The Blue Devils scored first less than halfway through the first quarter and never looked back. The Streaks fall to 1 - 5 on the season. The junior quarterback was 11 of 18 passing with no turnovers and signs of continued improvement leading the offense. Next up for the Silver Streaks is a road trip to Rock Island next Friday (10/11), still in the hunt for their first conference win of the season.
