Thursday night at Quincy, the Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team fought off a late comeback by the Blue Devils to win, 44-41. Galesburg held Quincy scoreless in the 3rd quarter, but the Blue Devils made a run in the 4th quarter to tighten up the score. The Streaks are 1st in the Western Big 6 standings at 4-o in the conference, and 9-1 on the season overall. Galesburg out rebounded Quincy, 30 to 19, and the Streaks had 18 turnovers to the Blue Devils' 20. Jozalyn Kilgore led the charge for the Silver Streaks with 19 points and 10 rebounds along with a block.
