Went to install cabinets for a client in a home built in 1930. I have not had to deal with plaster and lath walls yet and I was having a terrible time trying to locate studs with the stud finder. Do you folks with way more experience than me have tips on how to approach this? The other question is given the age of the house there is likely an under layer of paint that contains lead. other than making sure to contain dust with a hepa vac?
